| ZVP criticizes Azad for postponing DDB meeting | | | DODA, MAY 26 The district unit of Zila Vikas Party (ZVP) has expressed dissatisfaction over the manner in which the proposed District Development Board meeting scheduled to be held at Doda yesterday was postponed at the eleventh hour Addressing media persons here today the party President Abdul Hafiz said although all the officers and legislators had reached the district headquarters to attend the meeting but the postponement of the meeting at the eleventh hour by the Chief Minister has given rise to several speculations and resulted in wastage of heavy expenditure. He criticized the CM for postponing the meeting and demanded that the expenditure incurred on organizing the meeting needs to be recovered from the Chief Minister and also wanted to know the reasons for canceling the meeting. Wani also expressed surprise over the government proposal to hand over Chamba –Basholi –Bhaderwah road to R& B department and maintained that due to lack of infrastructure and required equipments the R&B would not be able to complete the road on schedule. He demanded that the work should be solely entrusted to BEACON/GREF as they have more expertise in laying down roads in hilly and mountainous areas. On the occasion various people joined the party and expressed full faith on the leadership and policies of the party.
