| Mother, along with three minor daughters, commits suicide | | |

A woman and her three minor daughters today committed suicide by consuming poison in their house in Narote Jaimel Singh area.
According to reports one lady namely Rekha Devi wife of Ranveer Singh resident of Narote Jaimel Singh committed suicide along with her three minor daughters namely Preeti, Spriti and Dimpol by consuming poison. After the incident, the locals rushed to spot and took them to Kathua hospital for treatment where Dimpol died and three others battling for their lives. The reasons for this extreme step have not been established so far.
Police has registered a case in this regard and took up the investigation.
Meanwhile, Kathua police today recovered an infant near Shiv Mandir in the area. According to reports some local people spotted a body of an infant and informed the police. After reaching the spot the police took the infant to hospital and registered a case in this regard.
