| IMPCC decides to highlight UPA government’s achievements | | |
Jammu, May 28
The meeting of State level Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC) was held today at Radio Kashmir, Srinagar which was chaired by Director, Radio Kashmir, Smt. T. Angmo. Besides Director, Radio Kashmir Jammu, senior officials of various stations of AIR and Doordarshan working in the State and also representatives of Press Information Bureau, Directorate of Field Publicity and Song and Drama Division participated in the meeting. The meeting discussed strategy to be adopted by various media units in disseminating information to people on the policies and programmes of Central and State Governments. It was decided to launch a focused campaign on the achievements and policy initiatives taken up by UPA Government in its tenure of three years at the Centre.
Issues relating to enhancement of cooperation and coordination among various media units were also discussed.
