Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has termed the utterances of National Conference leadership against the coalition regime in the State as a bundle of lies and baseless arguments devoid of any political force.
Referring to some utterances of National Conference leadership during recent days against the coalition regime in the state, PCC spokesperson has said that there is no truth in the allegations and these are devoid of any force. The people of the State in each region and part of the State acknowledge the landmark achievements on various fronts especially on development chart of the present regime.
The spokesman maintained that Rajouri-Poonch districts too got due shares in the various fields. The long pending demand of Mughal-road project is becoming a dream in short span. The dream of Bawa Ghulam Shah University has become reality in the area within shortest period. Setting up of Tourism Authorities in Rajouri- Poonch, besides creation of tehsils, blocks, sub- divisions, colleges and number of other educational institutions is a glaring example of the performance, he added.
The spokesman said that it was during long spell of National Conference regime that the corruption became so deep rooted in the system and its menace is being checked by taking various measures by the present Government. headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad.
The NC rule is also known for erosion of the authority of various institutions of the democracy and Government. Even ministers were supposed to take direction from top bureaucrats during NC regime and the pot should stop calling the kettle black, the spokesperson added.
