Jammu, May 28 State Bhartiya Janta Party has demanded a thorough probe into the death of a youth due to the negligence of doctors at Government Medical college Hospital Jammu. As press a statement issued here today, State Vice-President Satish Sharma said the preventable and tragic death of a 25-year youth Naresh Kumar of Simbal Camp at Govt. Medical College hospital, Jammu, exposes the hollowness of the state government's claims of making best medical facilities available in the Medical College Jammu. He said it is unfortunate that the equipment for Nero-surgery was out of order which led to the loss of a precious life. He alleged that the equipments in the hospital were deliberately left unattended. "The equipment was not repaired despite repeated requests, which shows that hospital authorities are in nexus with outsiders as they are forcing the patients to go to private clinics for treatment", he alleged. Lambasting Health Minister Mangat Ram Sharma and senior functionaries of the government, he said they are misleading people by claiming that GMC is being developed at par with AIIMS, New Delhi
