| IED Detected in Kupwara | | |

Police claimed to have averted a major tragedy after it detected and defused an IED on roadside near Waterkhani Drug mullah in Baramullah of north Kashmir.
Sources told that on the specific information police detected an IED fitted in a tin, sources said that to avoid any civilian causality, the area was immediately evacuated. Later, the IED was safely diffused by bomb disposal squad of Kupwara Police. Police has registered a case in this regard and launched a manhunt to nab the culprits. (NAK)
