Azad Govt. miserably failed to fulfill its promises: Samajwadi Party.

Criticizing over the functioning of the state coalition govt. after the Jammu based chief minister took over as the head of the state, the situation in the militancy torn state has gone from bad to worse, State Samajwadi Party, President, Sheikh Abdul Rehman, said this in a Press Conference here in Jammu today. He further said that the state coalition govt. has miserably failed to fulfill its promises as given by it to the people of the state, at the time of consuming power. The partners of the coalition Govt. instead are indulging in bickering against one another and the differences among themselves are rife. As a result, the Common Minimum Programme of the govt. has been adversely affected. Implementation of Wazir Commission Report, with regard to the creation of 4 additional districts, but instead 8 new districts have been sanctioned particularly in Kashmir Valley. Sex Scandals in which politicians and bureaucrats are also involved have defamed the traditional moral values of the state, the unending corruption in Political and Administrative levels have brought this state at no.2, rise in militancy and the resultant deterioration in law and order situation in the state, he added. He further said that in Samajwadi Party one day workers conference which was held at Patnitop, a Resolution was unanimously passed in which number of points were discussed in Detail include enhancement of 25% increase in the assembly seats in all the three regions of the state, continued apathy of the state govt. with the west Pakistan Refugees and Kashmiri and Jammu Migrants, Price rise of essential commodities and eatables, etc .He stressed the need of Centralization of Powers so that the common people gets Justice. Others who were present include Ram Prakash Sharma, Gen. Secretary, Nazir Ahmed Dev, vice president and other office bearers.
