| State agencies feel upset over interaction between Pak diplomats and Kashmiri separatists | | | Srinagar,May 29 The state Government has conveyed to the centre its displeasure over what it calls breach of trust committed by the chief of Forum for Dialogue and Reconciliation,Ms Shoba Barua. Official sources said today that Ms Barua had assured the state Government that those former diplomats from Pakistan,who have been invited to the Forum conference in Srinagar,would be restricted to the deliberations within the conference hall of a hotel. The official sources said that "we were amazed to find that two former diplomats from Pakistan,Khan Mohd.Hammyun and Mr Arif Kamal ,found ample time in the state's summer capital in meeting a cross section of Kashmiri separatists.Sources said that during the last two days these Pak diplomats met chairman APHC,Molvi Umar Farooq,Chief of Tehrikk Hurriyat Conference,Syed Ali Shah Geelani,and the JKLF Chief,Mohd.yasin Malik. Asked what action the Government proposed against these former diplomats and the organiser of the conference on Kashmir a senior Government officer said "it is upto the Government of India to consider some action.We cannot do anything."He said before the start of the two-day conference Ms Barua had assured the state Government that she will not allow former diplomats from Pakistan to meet any separatist leader.She had informed the Government that the purpose of the visit of the two former diplomats was to speak at the conference. He said it was for the Government of India to "lodge a protest with Islamabad against the activities of its two former diplomats
