| Youth congress to launch anti drug addiction campaign | | |
RS.Pura | 29 Expressing serious concern over the growing drug menace in RS Pura the District Youth Congress has decided to launch a massive campaign to create awareness about the ill effects of drugs especially on the youth. The decision to this effect was taken at the meeting of the party activists presided over by the District President Naresh Choudhary here today. The meeting decided to constitute an anti-drug team that would visit various areas of RS Pura to create awareness among the rural masses about the side affects of the drugs. The meeting lauded Early Times, for publishing informative stories about the menace of drug addiction and involvement of anti-social elements in drug trafficking and hoped that the paper would continue to expose those indulging in illicit trade of drugs apart from creating awareness especially among the youth about the fall out of consuming drugs which are health hazardous. Addressing the meeting Choudhary said that in next ten days, youth congress activists would launch an anti drug addiction campaign in the villages of rural areas and create awareness among the youth which would go a long way to check this growing menace. The meeting among others was attended by Block President Youth Congress RS Pura Sham lal, Vice-president Lucky Verma, Nitish Verma, Joginder Pal, Ashwani Mona, Sartaj Kumar, Janak Raj, Mintu Choudhary, Mukesh Bhagat, Sachin Kaith, Shanty Gupta, Gulshan Rajput and Kamal Khanna
