Public sector union (PSU) employees staged a protest rally under the banner of All Public Sector Employees and Workers Federation (APSEWF) in front of Div com Jammu. The protest rally was held under the chairmanship of AmriK Singh Sasan President APSEWF to remind CM Ghulam Nabi Azad about the promises he had made to fulfill the long pending demands of state owned OSU employees
Addressing the employees on protest, Amrik Singh criticized present government for not fulfilling the demands of PSES. Amrik further state that more than one year had passed but nothing had been done regarding our demands.
The employees were demanding for the release of cola, conversion of cola into da, Regularization of DRW and consolidated employees, pensionery benefits at JDA pattern.
Others who addressed the rally were Nar Singh, Abdul Manan Bhat, Jagjit Singh, Hari Chand, Jagmohan Sadhotra, Joginder Pal, S. William, Karn Singh, Ashok Mehra, Karam Chand, Ashok Anand, Pawan Sharma, Ashok Kohli, Jaswant Singh, Lal Singh and suraj Singh.
