EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | AUGSUT 8 Under taking the task of cultural renaissance and moulding the young talent to classical arts, Shobhaniya Kala Kendra held its annual cultured feast, titeled ‘ Tarangni ‘ in which about fifty students f the institution gave their brilliant performances. The programme began with a melodic sargam’ Mujh Mein Shiv Hai’ composed by Sanjiv Sharma.Other artists of the group were Raj Kumar, Jiadev, Sonu, Mohit Suarav, Rikki, Munish, and Pankaj. This was followed by “ Shradha” set to raga Kalawati in teen tall. The children namely Meera, Alia Ashna, Neha, Kanya, Aneesha, Ashita, Sanjula and Milli Swayed gently to the lyrics of “ Namoh Deva Ananta Rupran”, paying obeisance to Godess Kali and Seekin her blessings. A group of six artists- in –making comprising Guneet Aishwarya, himangi, Vaishali, Kashninaa and Chahat presented “ Avartan, a piece set to Raga Malkauns in ek tall followed by teen tall. An item titled “ Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan” was also displayed before audience. The artists Ankashi, Suvani, Aishwarya, Arushi, Kripa, Aashul, Sona etc. Dogra Harish Kaila, Preisdent, Nami Diogri Sanstha- The art Foundation and S.S. Anand Lehar, Yash Paul Yash, General Secretary were the dignitaries present at the occasion.
