| Five killed as vehicle rolls down | | | Jammu | May 29 Five persons died today in an accident when a vehicle on its way from Chenani to Udhampur fell down in Tawi River. According to reports today a Jonga fell down in Tawi river at Tordi Nullah allegedly due to negligence of driver in which five persons died on spot. Reports said two of them have been identified as Chand son of Nassir Singh and Sham Singh son of Parkash Singh both resident of Banth, Udhampur. Bodies were fished out from the river and remaining three could not be traced till last reports came in. An operation was launched to recover the bodies. Police has also registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, in another incident body of a pilgrim was recovered in mysterious condition at Adhkwari, Katra. According to reports today morning some people spotted the body and informed the police. A police team rushed to spot and took the body to hospital for postmortem and registered a case in this regard. He has been identified as Gopal Krishan son of Gnash Lal resident of Aydhyamanis Nagar, Mahrashtra and police is investigating the matter.
