Dr. Mumtaz Goni, principal and Dean Govt. Medical College, Jammu was given a farewell party by the college staff, medical employees association and hospital administration as she is retiring on May 31, 2007.
Speakers on the occasion appreciated the working of Dr. Mumtaz as principal of college and for the welfare of medical employees. Mrs. Narinder Kour, personal officer, associate hospitals informed the gathering that Dr. Mumtaz was very keen about the welfare of the employees. Time bound promotion, DPC meetings, Quari-permanent case were carried out during her tenure.
Among others who also praised her working were Dr. Yashpal Sharma, K.L. Mahaldar, Pardeep Kumar, Farooq Qauser, Koushal Kumari, Pawanjeet, Ashok Kumar, Vishan Verma, Ajay Kumar, Davinder Singh Rathore, Sureshita Jamwal, Nirmal Sethi, Umesh, Ashok Kumar and Anwar Being.
Speakers also hailed the appointment of Dr. Rajinder Singh as new principal of college.
