A number of deputations from various political parties and social organizations from various areas of Tehsil Sunderbani today called on S. S. Billowria, Chairman State Commission for creation of administrative units in various district of the state.
The deputationists presented charter of demands and urged the Chairman to recommend grant of district status to Sunderbani.
They also demanded creation of separate constituency, beside a degree college in the area.
The leaders who called on the Chairman, included Ravinder Sharma of Congress Vipin Paul district President National Conference, Gain Chand, Capt. Romesh Lal, Inder Paul of BJP, Girdhari Lal Dogra President Municipal Committee, Master Shamsher Singh, Bhola Ram of (NC), Pritam Dass Ex-Chairman NAC, Tulsi Dass President Block Congress Committee, Chuni Lal, Chander Mohan of Sanatan Dharam Sabha.
