| PNB distributes Rs.3 cr cheques to farmers under Utsav Vikas | | |

Punjab National Bank today disbursed loans aggregating to Rs three crores to rural poor farmers at a function held at Baba ka Talab, Shame Chack Jammu under Utsav Vivaks.
The Bank plans to distribute Rs.15 crore as loans in Dumana, Akhnoor, Aghore and Shamachak clusters during the current fiscal . The Bank is credited to be the first banki to adopt village Gurah Singhu where it has already constructed a passenger shed as a toilet block in girls’ school.
The Shamachak branch of the Bank is shortly being connected to CBS network and will have ATM facility.
Former Minister and Congress MLA Mula Ram who was present on the occasion lauded the Bank in providing credit facility to the poor farmers .He also distributes cheques to 67 beneficiaries at today’s function.
