| JU to build Lawn Tennis courts, signs memo with JKLTA | | |

The University of Jammu (JU) and Jammu and Kashmir Lawn Tennis Association (JKLTA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the construction of Lawn Tennis courts in University campus. The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof Amitabh Mattoo, Vice Chancellor JU and BB Vyas, Commissioner Secretary Finance J&K Government, also President JKLTA.
As per MoU, JU will provide suitable space for the construction of four Lawn Tennis Courts in its campus. University will bear the expenses for the construction of the courts and it will also look after its functioning while, JKLTA will look after the overall management of the created infrastructure including nature and schedule of coaching and running of the courts. The Association will also assist in holding the periodic camps for the benefit of the sports persons of the University in particular and the members of the Association in general.
Prof. Keshav Sharma, Director Physical Education JU and Capt. Murti Gupta, General Secretary JKLTA were the signatories to the MoU which was signed amid the presence of Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, Vice-Chancellor and BB Vyas, Commissioner Secretary Finance J&K Govt., who is also the President of JKLTA and Sanjeev Mahajan, Registrar JU.
