| Sena expresses concern over increase in militancy | | | Jammu May 31 Expressing grave concern and anguish over the present policies of coalition government, General Secretary of Shiv Sena; Ashok Gupta today said because of inefficiency and wrong policies of the authorities, militancy has again started rising in the state. Addressing a press conference, here today, he said that two recent incidents in one of which a Dy S P was killed yesterday and in another a Dy S P Yougal Manhas was serious injured clearly show that present government has been unable to control the situation. He emphasized that increase in the militancy related incidents is due to the lack of co-ordination between the security forces and the state government. He alleged that the government was engaged only in the transfers of blue eyed police officers from the militancy infested areas and give them postings at places of their choice. He also alleged that one of the coalition partners is pressing hard its demand of demilitarization and the government is sleeping over the issue instead of taking actions against such politicians as traitors. “These politicians are hand in gloves with the militants,” he said. The Shiv Sena leader said that in order to misguide the masses on the real situation, the government has been luring tourists on the false pretext of normalcy in the state.
