| Kavinder concludes extensive tour of Jammu areas | | |

The District BJP President and former JMC Mayor, Kavinder Gupta, who was on an 3-day extensive tour of Rehari, Sarwal, Dogra Hall, Pucca Talab and Janipur areas of Jammu West Assembly constituency interacted with the local residents and listened their woes arising out of the inadequate supply of drinking water and electricity and non availability of ration in the government depots.
On the conclusion of his tour, Kavinder Gupta, said that every one who met him expressed his resentment against the Congress-led coalition government for its total failure to make available essential commodities. He said the PDD and PHE departments have failed to come up to the expectations of the masses. The people residing in Jammu city, Jammu west in particular are facing lot of hardships but there is no one to care for. People are not getting water for days together. Unscheduled power cuts are imposed for 5 to 7 hours daily. Ration is not available at depots. Kerosene oil is also not available.
Kavinder Gupta asked the PDD and PHE departments not to test patience of the suffering people in these days when temperature is going up with the passing of each day and there is dire necessity of water and electricity. He also demanded that the CAPD department should make available ration and kerosene oil.
JMC councilors of BJP Subhash Jandial, Rainvder Gupta, Balwan Singh, Narsing Dass Rajwal, Sureshta Jamwal and Arun Khannaj were prominent among those who accompanied Kavinder Gupta during his tour.
