 Bhaderwah, Jan 25 : As a prelude to 'Republic Day Celebrations 2015', the Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadarwah under Delta Force organised a 'Swacch Bharat Abhiyan' on 24 January 2015 at Chinta, Bhadarwah to commensurate the importance of Republic Day.
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was organised at village Chinta. The drive was inaugurated by Om Prakash Kotwal, Sarpanch of Jalga Panchayat in presence of a number of villagers and army personnel. Prior to starting the cleanliness of area, a lecture was delivered by an officer of the Rashriya rifles to the youth and villagers of Chinta in which he elucidated that this is a national level campaign.
He explained the villagers about the importance of cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation for a healthy society. This was followed by a mass drive of youth and many villagers in cleaning every nook and corner of the village. |
