CWWA observes senior citizen day

JAMMU, MAY 31
On the occasion of World anti tobacco day and senior citizens day celebrated throughout the world regional branch of CRPF Wives Welfare Association (CWWA) of group Centre CRPF Bantalab Jammu organized a senior citizen day at old aged and infirm home Amphalla Jammu here today.
The president of CWWA Mrs Mamta Mathur alongwith other women and senior officers of CRPF visited the old aged home for sympathetic. They all interacted with the 63 inmates and enquired about the facilities being provided to them. Utility items such as washing powder, bathing soap as well as light refreshment like sweets and fruits were distributed on the ocassion.
Mrs. Anita Thappa presented a Desh Bhagti geet and bhajan. An entertainment programme was also conducted for the residents by the CWWA members. The programme was conducted by Mr. R.K. Behera(D/C) under the guidance of Mr. Y.K. Mathur, Additional DIGP, Group Centre Bantalab Jammu.
Among others, Mrs. Jagan Singh, Mrs. J.S Rathore, Mrs. Yashvir Singh, Mr. Yashvir Singh A/C and prominent citizen of the area were also present on the occasion
