| Jamwal conducts open darbar at Samba | | |

Responding to directions of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, District Development Commissioner Samba today hold an open darbar in his office chamber to mitigate the genuine problems of the general masses on-the-spot.
Senior officers of Deputy Commissioner, PHE, PDD, Flood Control, Education, Health and other departments attended the meeting.
Various people projected their grievances, which were mostly related to drinking water, irrigation facilities, power supply, road connectivity, repair and renovation of link roads, soil conservation schemes, anganwari centres are not properly, deficiency of patwaris and compensation whose land or houses have merged due to the construction of roads.
The DDC, Mr. Jamwal listened to the problems of common masses patiently and directed the concerned district officers who were present on the occasion to redress the grievances of the public. He further said that inter-department disposal of work will be ensured as the basic facts are well known to district officers, tehsil and block level officers and will be directed to hold public darbars camps where Tehsil and Block level officers will be directed to peruse the grievances cases of the public.
He said that remedial measures are initiated on spot like testing of drinking water through samples of water of concerned village through PHE. The concerned departments/officers have been advised and directed to attend the problems spontaneously accordingly and furnish the action taken report.
