| Mankotia asks misguided youth to join mainstream | | | Banihal, June 1- Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party president and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia has asked the misguided youth to join the national mainstream and help rebuilding a prosperous and peaceful Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a gathering of more than 5000 people at Sargali in Banihal area, balwant Singh Mankotia said that the people of state have suffered tremendous damage due to ongoing turmoil in the state for last seventeen years. "It is high time that those who have been misguided by the foreign powers or have taken to guns due to some grievances join the mainstream and shun the path of violence," he said adding "any problem can be solved through dialogue." Mankotia said that successive governments have been only making claims of development of all areas and segments of the state but nothing has been done on ground. He said that the area in district Ramban is most suitable for attracting tourists, but nothing has been done all these years. Balwant Singh Mankotia inaugurated a cricket Tournament on the occasion in which more than 40 teams from Ramban, Banihal, Udhampur, Doda are participating. Earlier JKNPP president started a padyatra from Ukhral and after passing through Hunga, Kote, Kharial, Trigam, HS Pogal Paristan, Marwan, Nagotra ended at Sargali. On way he addressed various corner meetings. on this occasion more than 500 persons from NC, PDP and Congress joined the party. Sewa Singh Bali, State Joint Secretary, Panthers Trade Union also addressed on the occasion.
