JAMMU, Jan 29: Jammu Youth Forum (JYF) today staged a protest demonstration against the decision of Acting Vice Chancellor Professor RD Sharma who has reinstated Dr Darshana Sharma as Programme Coordinator for Med at DDE; she was removed from the same post for her alleged involvement in copying during M Ed test, 2013.
According to press release, addressing the gathering, President JYF Mohd Akram Ahmed criticized the Jammu University authorities, particularly the committee constituted to enquire the copying scandal in M.Ed examination in Directorate of Distance Education, for targeting a particular community and letting the main accused free from any action. He said that in 2013, a student was caught copying in DDE along with a book, who was consequently suspended for two years. |
