| RKJ extends date for submission of applications | | |
Jammu, June 01
Radio Kashmir Jammu has extended the date for receipt of applications for Part Time Correspondents for Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi, Ramban, Kishtwar and Samba districts by 15 days. Now the last date for receipt of applications has been fixed as 15th June, 2007. Earlier, the last date for receipt of applications was 31st May, 2007.
The candidate desirous for applying for the post of Part Time Correspondent must be graduate with 2/3 years journalistic experience and should be residing at the district headquarters for which he/she is being engaged. However, candidates having knowledge of Computers and Typing skills will be given e preference. Candidates applying for the post should be well versed with Dogri, Gojri, English, Hindi and Urdu languages/local languages of the district concerned.
The candidate must be between 25 to 50 years of age. However the upper age can be relaxable up to 55 years depending upon the suitability of the candidate. The retired persons from Indian Information Service can be engaged beyond the age of 60 years provided they are found medically fit. The persons already in government service, central/state government/ or in any public undertaking will not be considered for appointment.
Desirous candidates should address their applications to Station Director, Radio Kashmir, Jammu, which should reach on or before June 15, 2007. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained.
