| SSH burns Mehbooba Mufti’s effigy | | | Jammu June 01
Agitated over the PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti’s demand of demilitarization Dimpy Kohli, President Shiv Sena Hindustan burnt the effigy of Mehbooba Mufti here today.
Addressing a protest rally, Kohli said that PDP and its leader Mehbooba Mufti are supporting Pak sponsored militants, who are dangerous to our country”.
He asked why the PDP did not raise the demilitarization issue when it was in power for three years and said that the basic purpose to raise such issues now is to mislead the people particularly when the elections are round the corner. He said there is no justification of its demand as the State is continuing to reel under the militant threat and in this connection referred to the killing of DSP at Bhaderwah.
In his address General Secretary, Rajesh Kesri said, “It is only due to the hard work of the security forces that the situation has become normal in the state but PDP is not happy with this normalcy.”
“We will not allow the PDP to succeed in its nefarious designs which are detrimental to the interests of the nation as a whole’ he added.
