Baramulla, Jan 31: in order to promote the cultural and literary heritage of Kashmir, Information Department organized a Mushaira-cum cultural programme at Town Hall, Lagama Uri.
The audience were also present there from all walks of life and praised the programme.
On the occasion, Joint Director Information Kashmir, Shafkat Iqbal was the chief guest, and among others District Information Officer Baramulla and Executive Officer Municipal Council were also present.
Later on two books, namely Awazi Haq and Musalmann aur Rosumati Bad written by local renowned poet Hajji Firoz-Ud Din Beig of Bijhama were also released on the occasion. |
