Jammu, Jan 31: ReT Forum will be hold protest against the failure of pervious government to resolve the SSA salary issue on February at all the districts headquarters, which is long pending demands.
According to press release, a meeting organized on Saturday under banner of All J&K ReT teachers Forum at Exhibition Ground Jammu under the chairmanship of State General Secretary Najam Jafri and State vice president Younis Rahi.
While, addressing the gathering, Jafari showed resentment against the government for its failure to resolve the SSA salary issue. He said that in this regard ReT forum held a peaceful protest on January 3,2015 at press club Jammu and a month ultimatum was given to the government but till date no process has been initiated to clear the pending SSA salary and thousands of ReT teachers under SSA are suffering for the want of salary. Teachers are facing a lot of problems to meet out their basic family needs.
It was unanimously decided with the consultation of State president Vinod Sharma to hold protest demonstration at all the districts headquarters in support of their issue of SSA salary and memorandums of demands would be submitted to the Governor through respective Deputy Commissioners.
Meanwhile, Provincial president Rajesh Singh Jamwal appealed all the ReT teachers to participate in the said protest at their respective Districts headquarters to make the protest successful.
Among others who were present in the meeting included Sukhdev Singh, Sajad Malik, Gulzabir Daing, Subash Chander, Sukesh Khajuria, Mahesh Kumar, Pankaj Verma, Shahnwaz Hussain, Sham Sharma and others. |
