| Loan Proposals cleared by Committee. | | | Jammu, Aug. 8:
Loan committee of Jammu Cooperative Bank ( J C C ) in the presence of its chairman and other senior Board Directors, cleared a loan amounting to 1.55 crores of rupees, taking the total amount of advances to Rs. 204.32 crores.thts was stated in a press release issued after the meeting of its sr. Board members, office bearers and workers.
The meeting, held at Sehkari Bhavan, Rail Head, was presided over by M.S Tariq Chairman of the Bank.
The Board members however took a strong exception to the uncalled for communication of NABARD to the State govt. which according to it is the handiwork of some disgruntled elements, without any credentials and have miserably failed .The Registrar cooperative services, is on record, to have remarked that such communications are frivolous.
The Board members, the release said, while appreciating the contributions of M.S. Tariq said that he is the person who secured the commitment from Govt. for the settlement of the huge default of JAKFED running into crores of rupees. The members resolved to request NABARD to avoid such issues.
