| Legal awareness camp held at Ransoo | | |

Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Reasi organised a Legal Awareness camp at village Ransoo in block Pouni of district Reasi the other day.
Additional District Session Judge, Reasi, Mrs. Sudesh Warikoo presided over the function besides Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Reasi, Mr. Sanjay Parihar, Sub-Judge, Reasi, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Reasi, BDO Pouni and Bar members attended the camp.
Additional District Session Judge highlighted several aspects of legal services and suggested the participants to educate people especially the women about their legal rights. Chairman Tehsil Legal Service Committee spoke on free legal aid and the procedure for the settlement of disputes through the medium of Lok Adalats. He lauded the role of state High Court Legal Service Committee in the field of delivery of justice to the poor at their door steps.
Tehsildar Reasi, SDPO, President Bar Association and Ex-president also spoke on the occasion.
Tehsildar Reasi appealed the people to come forward for settlement of their disputes through the medium of Lok Adalats.
