| Restoration of Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex | | Div Com directs for vacation of offices | |

Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Mr. Pramod Jain today convened a meeting of officers from different departments located in Mubarak Mandi complex regarding eviction of their respective offices from the heritage complex.
Speaking on the occasion, the Divisional Commissioner said that due to dilapidated condition of the buildings in the complex and also being in process of restoration of Mubarak Mandi being Heritage Complex for tourism promotion, this step needs to be initiated on the priority basis.
Mr. Jain asked the concerned officers of the departments to vacate the buildings and shift to new accommodations at the earliest. It was apprised that office of CAPD department is likely to shift to Super Bazaar, Jammu shortly. Election office Rani Mehal, CRPF office will be shifted to some other location by the end of this month. Registrar Cooperative Department will also be shifted within one-month time. Likewise Social Welfare Advisory Board, Legal Metrology department will be shifted within one month time. J&K Bank and Additional Treasury, Chief Architect Office will also put off after two months. Assistant Commissioner Nazol (Estates) will move to DC office. Education Department Migrant Cell will be shifted within 45 days.
He asked the remaining departments to arrange new accommodation within a period of 45 days. He said proper eviction notice will be provided to their respective administrative section. He said that the Estate department will assist the departments in shifting process.
Among others, Director CAPD Jammu Mr. B.D Sharma, Additional Registrar Cooperative Mr. R.S Kotwal, DIGP Jammu range CRPF Mr. R.K Dua, Chief Architect J&K Mr. S.K Wadhera, Deputy Controller Legal Metrology, BDSM, J&K Bank and other senior officers of the various departments attended the meeting.
