| Brother duo arrested, liquor seized | | |

Police today arrested a brother duo and recovered liquor from their possession during a raid in village Chak Majra under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station. According to reports, police booked specific information that some persons selling the liquor illegally in their house. After booking the information, a police team led by SHO Bishnah Jatinder Raina swung into action and raided on spot where police arrested two real brothers namely Veeru Ram and Panju Ram son of Chuni Lal resident of Chak Majra and recovered 20 liter of liquor from their possession and took them to police station for further interrogation and registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, an unidentified dead body was also recovered in the area in mysterious condition. This morning some local people spotted a dead body in the canal at village Deoli and informed the matter to police who rushed to spot and took the body to GMC for identification and also registered a case in this regard.
