The militancy ridden hilly district is facing acute problem of poor telecommunication facilities and wherever it is available it is not working up to the desired level. The poor communication net work has left the area especially the Bhaderwah cut off from rest of the outer world.
Right from the day one when the BSNL launched its mobile service in the area there is hardy any day when it has not remained out of order. Despite several pleas and protests the authorities concerned have not woken up from their deep slumber forcing the subscribers to fend for alternative net work. Though some private providers have also jumped into the field late still they have shown their presence felt in the market and majority of the subscribers are shifting to the private net work.
There is every apprehension that the subscribers may say good bye to the BSNL cell phones if the situation remained the same for few days more and may opt for the private communication net work like Airtel, Aircel etc.
The people say that it is right time for BSNL to act in swiftness otherwise they would loose their clientele in the Bhaderwah area which is fast developing as a famous tourist destination.
