| DM Reasi prohibits transportation of bovine animals | | |
UDHAMPUR, JUNE 07
District Magistrate, Reasi, Mr Sanjeev Verma has imposed ban on transportation of bovine animals such as cows, ox, buffaloes etc. from Reasi district jurisdiction to other places outside the district. The prohibitory orders would have immediate effect and shall remain in force for a period of two months.
The bovine animals could however be transported from Reasi to outside the district after obtaining prior permission of District Magistrate, Reasi which would be issued on production of a certificate issued by the qualified Veterinary Doctor. The mode of transport, time of move, number of animals to be carried etc shall be governed as per the conditions prescribed under permit. This order would not be applicable in case of government agencies carrying the animals for departmental purposes.
