| Ousted Excise employees stir enters 129th day | | |

The ongoing protest dharna by ousted Excise and Commercial Taxes Employees Association entered 129th day here today The agitating class IV employees have been demanding readjustment in the department.
The dharna is also continuing at the summer capital Srinagar..
Addressing the protestors the Association President Adil Rashid Khan has reminded the Chief Minister of his assurance given to the delegation of the Civil Secretariat employees union some three months back and appealed that the just and genuine demand of the ousted employees should be fulfilled on humanitarian grounds without any further delay. .Ravinder Singh Vice-president of the Association said, ‘Employees and their families are suffering from so many difficulties from last nine years due to the non-serious attitude of the State government’ and appealed the government to take fresh look on the issue and help solve the problem of the agitating employees
