| 2 Kg heroine, arms, porn CDs seized as police raids house of history sheeter | | |
Kathua (Jammu) June 8
Police today raided the house of a suspected drug peddler at Sawan Chak Kathua and recovered two Kilogram heroine worth two crore rupees in international market, besides Porno CD's arms and Bhuuki.
The accused was arrested from a basement of the house being used by the accused as hideout, official sources said.
The search of the accused residence was conducted after police secured search warrant from Judicial Magistrate.
Executive Magistrate and Independent witnesses were accompanying the Police team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police ( Dy.SP- HQRS) Khalil Ahmed Poswal.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that Kathua police after getting search warrants from Judicial Magistrate police raided the house of Harpal Singh alias Bloachi son of Puran Singh resident of Swan Chak Kathua
During the search police recovered 2 KG of purest form of heroine, three hundred Kgs of Bhuuki, some Porn CD's, 1 Kata (local pistol) one 315 Bhore rifle, 1 Mouser and one 12 Bhore Gun along with huge quantity of ammunition.
The search party also arrested Bloachi, who was hiding in basement of the house.
According to police, accused, a history sheeter was wanted in a number of cases including drug peddling, assault and attempt to murder cases. Earlier, he was arrested in a narcotic case way back in 2000. Since then he was out on bail.
Bloachi was evading arrest for a long as for his terror no one in the area dared to report the police about his activities,
However, since past fifteen days police under a strategy was keeping surveillance on his activities and finally succeeded in trapping him today soon after he entered into his house.
The recoveries, including the narcotics are put be worth 2.50 crore in the international market.
Police has registered a case under the relevant sections.
