| Attique praises New Delhi for peace efforts | | | Muzaffarabad, June 8 : Pakistan occupied Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan has praised the administrations of New Delhi and Srinagar for their efforts towards restoring peace in Kashmir. "The on going peace process has reduced tensions in the region. The continuity of the process is a big success and it is bound to deliver," the Dawn quoted Khan, as saying. He also said that there was nothing wrong with the statement of External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee that India could not give a timeframe for the resolution of the Kashmir issue. "Mukherjee is right because a time frame on Kashmir cannot be given," he said. Khan predicted major developments on the Kashmir issue in the coming days and called for demonstration of greater responsibility by the Kashmiri leaders on both sides of the divide. Taking a step forward to maintain peace, Khan said that he had reserved seats for the students from Jammu and Kashmir in a cadet college here, and was happy that Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad had also reciprocated by granting admissions to students from PoK.
