| Jora visits Bari-Brahmana, take stock of construction work of 132/33 KV Grid Station | | | JAMMU, JUNE 08 Minister for Power Mr.Nawang Rigzin Jora visited the site of Grid Station Bari-Brahmana-II to take a stock of position of construction work of 132/33 KV, 2x50 MVA Grid Station involving an amount of Rs. 2575.10 lakh here this morning. The work of this ambitious project 132 KV and 33 KV bays were completed 60 per cent and 40 per cent respectively and the work of 1x50 MVA (Phase-I) of Grid Station shall be completed and commissioned in October this year. Mr. Jora has underscored the need for timely completion of all work under execution. He directed the officers and concerned engineers to re-double their efforts and work on war footing to accomplish infrastructural development in the state and achieve the target in full. The Minister said that Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has issued clear instructions to complete the ongoing development projects for the benefit of the general masses. He also cautioned adding engineer who complete in fixed target within prescribed time would get appreciation. He also reviewed construction work and progress of entire of the station. Chief Engineer, PDD Mr. D. S. Pawar informed the Minister about the benefit of scheme. He said that after commissioning Grid Station Bari-Brahmana-II, will relief the over loading problem of 31.5 MVA Grid Station Bari-Brahmana-I and shall also meet the load of existing and new upcoming industries in the area. Among others, SE Power Mr. Sonam Gyalsom and engineers of PDD were present on the occasion.
