| 172 KG Banfasha seized at Kaingth-Gali | | |
UDHAMPUR, JUNE 08
Territorial Forest Division, Udhampur has seized 172 KGs of Gool-Banfasha along with vehicle at Kainth-Gali Forest Check Post on the intervening night of June 4 and 5, 2007.
According to Divisional Forest Officer, Udhampur, Mrs.Roop Avtar Kour, the naka was laid on a specific information at Kainthgali Forest Check Post by the officials of Forest Department, Udhampur and a Tata Mobile bearing registration No. JK-14-9675 was intercepted. On checking the vehicle eight gunny bags filled with approximately 172 Kilograms of Gool-Banfasha recovered and seized.
The naka was laid under the supervision of DFO Udhampur actively assisted by the Range Officer Panchari, Mr. Pritam Singh Jaswal, Forester, Mr. Satish Kumar and other staff posted at Panchari check post.
