The members of Jammu Peoples Front (JPF) in a meeting held here today elected Satish Poonchi as president and Satish Chander as general secretary of the front.
The other members of the front are Masrang Ahmed Jan as Sr. Vice President, Saroop Singh Addl. General Secretary Krishant Kant Sharma, secretary, Shamsher Singh Bindral, treasurer and Rajesh Kohli as legal advisor.
After getting elected as president, Poonchi thanked all the members present in the meeting and expressed their faith in the seven members committee elected. He announced that front will be expended shortly by including more members.
He said Jammu People Student Front, Jammu People Mahila Front, Jammu People Youth Front and Jammu People Backward Classes Front will be shortly formed.
It was decided in the meeting that JPF will participate in the forth coming assembly by filing its candidates on all the Jammu Seats
