| Shiv Dev demands supply of water through tankers | | |
Jammu June 9-
Expressing serious concern over acute shortage of drinking water at Sangar and Challana villages of Dansal Block, Thakur Shiv Dev Singh ex MLA and General Secretary PCC has demanded supply of water through tankers to overcome this problem to some extent.
Singh who was on an extensive tour of several parts of Dansal Block of Nagrota constituency visited Sagoon, Surisar, Challana, Sangar, Atham, Sandhi, Kanna Schadkar and Bajalta areas and took stock of the on going development works there.
Singh has also demanded construction of over bridges on railway crossings, deployment of teaching staff at Government High school Sagoon and opening of a PHC at Suriesar.
The PCC leader also demanded separate block for Panchayat Halqas of Chilla, Sidhra, Manjeen, Suriesar, Sandhi, Sangoon and Kanna Schadkar as these halqas of Nagrotra constituency fall in Dansal and Purmandal blocks and people of these areas have to travel a long distance to reach their respective block headquarters.
BCC President Dansal Ram Rattan Sharma also accompanied the PCC General Secretary.
