| Body of kidnapped SPO recovered, hideout busted | | | Srinagar June 09 The body of a Special Police officer (SPO) who was kidnapped from Kulgam three day back was today recovered from Bijbehara, while Army busted a hideout at Lilahar eight kilometers from south Kashmir district of Kupwara. Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that SPO Bilal Ahmad Dar, son of Mohd Ramzan, resident of Hassan pora Bagh Kulgam was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen suspected to be the militants during intervening night of June 4 and 5 from his residence. The body of the SPO was recovered by Bijbehara Police near village Loktipora, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Bijbehara. "some locals informed the police that a bullet ridden body was laying in the fields at Loktipora" a police officer told NAK adding that after conducting postmortem the body was handed over to the family of deceased SPO. Meanwhile, army claimed to have busted a hideout in house of Manzoor Ahmed at Lilahar about eight kms from Pulwama. Manzoor was earlier a militant of Al-Jihad, who had surrendered way back in 1992, sources said. They said the hideout was constructed under ground with an entrance through a gas cylinder covered with sliding stone. One AK 56 rifle was recovered from the hideout
