| BJP’s 36-hour hunger strike begins today | | | Jammu:June 10 State unit of BJP unit will organize 36-hours hunger strike at Purani Mandi, Jammu, which will start on Monday, the 11th June, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. sharp to press their demand of adequate measures and security to be strengthened, including creation of new Village Defence Committees (VDCs) in militancy affected areas and for payment to all committees upto three thousands (3000) per month which were constituted under the instructions of government and providing sophisticated weapons to the committees, stopping of harassment by different police officials and administration of nationalistic forces in Doda district and to expose the evil design of “state sponsored terrorism”. State Spokesperson Ramesh Arora will further intensify their protest if the migrants of West Pakistan (Refugees) are not given humanitarian treatment and further not given, right to vote and property in the state. BJP will further expose all the different irresponsible actions of police in Doda district under which different persons were killed and planned efforts are going on demoralize the nationalistic forces so that migration can take place.
