| Trifurcation unacceptable: Rehman | | | Jammu | June 10
Samajwadi party (SP) state president Sheikh Abdul Rehman said, that his party opposes the demand for trifurcation of the J&K State.
Addressing a press conference after completing the tour of districts of Srinagar, Anantnag, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar here today, he said it is a great national and international conspiracy to divide the state.
Rahman said SP is in favour of maintaining unity and integrity of the state at all court, and will fight against any division of the state. In the conference he once again reiterates its demand for grant of regional councils for, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and autonomous hill development for Chenab valley.
He said during the extensive tour of various districts a number of deputation and indivisral on apprised him about the anti people policies of the successive governments. People want change in the political scenario of the state, he said and added that it is because of this reason that people in large number attend public meeting organised by Samajwadi party.
