| Jammu people never made partners in policy making: Bhim | | | Jammu, June 10 Stressing discrimination against Jammu, Chairman JK National Panthers Party, Bhim Singh has said that that Jammuites were never made partners in the policy making process and identity of the Dogra's culture, language and history was demolished with an ulterior motive. Addressing the political representatives of various Jammu based political parties, here today, Singh said that people of this region made sacrifices both on the border and on the domestic fronts but remained denied of all the opportunities at all levels. "We were cheated every time, in every election and in every war", Bhim said adding "Our people made supreme sacrifices all along but never were made partner in the policy making process with the result that identity of the Dogra's culture, language and history were demolished with an ulterior motive",. He said that it is Jammu which has been suffering for six decades starting from the Pakistan refugee's settlement in 1947 but Government has never touched the problems of the Migrants of 1947 from POK migrants of 1965, 1971 from Shamb and other areas of the state "All Kashmiri based parties have recently demonstrated their respective positions on the issue of these migrants and they have categorically refused to help these people which speaks volumes about their intentions", he said. As long as people of Jammu do not get their equitable and just share in the legislature, there shall always be discrimination with Jammu at political level, the NPP Supremo said adding, and 37 can never be equal to 46, which is the present strength of the MIAs in Jammu and Kashmir provinces.
