| Govt committed to implement CMP in full: Hakim Yaseen | | | Srinagar, June 10 Chairman PDF and Minister for Transport Hakim Mohammad Yaseen has expressed satisfaction over the working of coalition government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, maintaining that government would strive for implementing its Common Minimum Programme (CMP) in full. Addressing public meetings at Srinagar and Khansahib today, Mr. Yaseen said that government has initiated various measures for strengthening peace process in the state, which he said is pre-requisite for the success of development programmes. He said people of the state are aspiring for peace and the government is committed to restore it with honour and dignity. Hakim Yaseen said that PDF is emerging as a strong political force in the state and hoped that the people would extend their full cooperation to it to carry forward the agenda of peace and development. He said PDF, which is a constituent of the coalition government would continue to support Azad led government for restoring peace, development and prosperity besides implementing the CMP. He said government created 13 new administrative units in the state to address the development needs of the people of all dear and with the step equitable development of all the regions has been ensured. The PDF Chairman said that the "Roshni Act" passed by the state legislature is expected to improve the living standard of the farming class across the state as the ownership rights over more than 16 lakh kanals of land are being vested to the peasants. He underlined the need for improving CBM's and added that opening of road links, meeting points and starting trade would help India and Pakistan to redress the grievances of the people across the LoC. Senior leaders of the Front were also present on the occasion.
