| Doda Police Busts Grenade Module, Arrest Six OGW's | | | Jammu,June 10
Doda police on sunday evening claimed a major success by busting a grenade blast module with the arrest of six over ground workers believed to be local cadre of Lashkar-e-Toiba.
According to official sources, Doda police arrested six over ground workers identified as Fareed Ahmed,Wasim Ahmed,Mehboob Ahmed,Nazir Ahmed all residents of Bhaderwah, Shah Nawaz and Riaz of Beoli and Koti Doda on Sunday evening..
According to official sources Fareed was earlier involved in grenade throwing at Doda on May 24 and waseem had thrown grenade at Seri Bhaderwah in June last year in whihc 14 persons were injured.
Doda police claimed that all six OGW;s were working out plans to carry out more grenade attacks in Doda and Bhaderwah but their timely arrest has averted major tragedies.
During the arrest the doda police also recovered one greande from Fareed from Dhak Mohalla.
It may be mentioned that the SSP Doda Manohar Singh had constituted a team of officers to trap grenade throwers after they recovered a live grenade from Bus stand area on May 24,2007.
