Wards of shortlisted aspiring ‘prison wardens’ hold protest

Jammu, Mar 7 : Kins and wards of all selected candidates of warder in Prison Department held protest and extended supprt to ongoing struggle of their family members who are struggleing to get conceded their demands. The protestors demanded release of the final selection list, which was pending for the last more than four years due to reasons best known to the concerned authorities. Children reiterated that they will continue to supprt agitation till their demands are redressed. meanwhile amid slogans the candidates also joined in and said they would not let up their struggle until their demands are not conceded. The selected wardens’ in Prison department said that many of candidates have attained upper age limit for goversnment jobs and added government should consider their demands on humantarian grounds.
