| Niaz calls on Transport Minister | | SRTC to ply more buses on Doda routes | |
Jammu June 11
Srinagar, June, 11- Member Legislative Council and Former Minister, Mohammad Sharief Niaz called on Minister for Transport, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen and apprised him about the shortage of transport facilities in Doda district in general and Bhaderwah/Bhalessa/Thathri tehsils in particular.
He informed the Minister that the people of the district were facing a great inconvenience for want of adequate transport facilities and stressed for taking immediate steps for deployment of SRTC buses, besides additional private buses on different routes in the district.
Responding to the demand, the Minister issued on the spot directions to the Managing Director, JKSRTC for deployment of at least five buses in addition to operating additional private transport vehicles on the deficit routes.
