| ‘Srimad Bhagwat Geeta’s’ audio cassette in Kashmiri language released | | | Jammu | June 11 The audio cassette of ‘Srimad Bhagwat Geeta’ in Kashmiri language was released at K.L. Saigal Hall in Cultural Academy here today. The Kashmiri translation of the Holy Scripture has been done by Santosh Shah Nadan. The release function was presided over by Secretary Academy Dr. Rafeeq Masoodi, while Prof. Zuhur-ud-Din was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr. Masoodi in his presidential address congratulated Santosh for translating the Holy book. Prof. Zahur-ud-Din, in his address appreciating the work of Santosh said by doing such a noble work, she has tried to bridge the different religious and cultures of Kashmir and Kashmiri speaking folk all round the world. He also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Rafeeq in organizing such important function. Dr. Arvinder Singh Aman, Editor Punjabi, in his welcome address highlighted the activities of the cultural Academy while R.K. Bharti conducted the proceedings of the programme. Dr. B.L. Koul, Wali Mohd. Aseer and Prof. Rattan Lal Shant also spoke on the occasion and threw light on the preaching’s of Bhagwat Geeta and the importance of its Kashmiri translation. On the occasion Santosh recited some of the couplers of the Bhagwat Geeta in Kashmiri from the Cassette released today. Neeru Sharma, Editor Hindi, J&K Cultural Academy presented vote of thanks.
