| Unemployed Engineers fast unto death enters 7th day. | | |

The fast unto death being observed by the unemployed Engineers entered 7th day here today.
Under the banner of the All J&K Unemployed Engineers Association, unemployed engineers are demanding employment under Rehbar-e-Tamirat scheme. They criticized the state government for its apathetic attitude towards the problems of engineers and demanded introduction of Rebar-e-Tamirat scheme. It is worth mentioning that unemployed engineers have been protesting for the last 67 days in favour of their demands.
MP Lal Singh Congress and Power Minister Rinzing Zora during their visit to Mubarak Mandi visited the engineers and listened to their problems. They assured the unemployed engineers that their demands will be discussed with the Chief Minister soon.
